About me

Greetings!

My name is Vinh, and I create content on personal development and entreprenuership.

Professionally, I work in global trade compliance for an international supply chain company.

Though I am a Minnesota native, I currently reside in Fort Myers, Florida with my wife and baby daughter.

Experience & expertise

Soon after graduation from Saint John’s University (Minn.), I taught English in China for two years while learning enough Mandarin to pursue my Asian studies masters degree at the University of Hawaii.

I started my supply chain and trade compliance career by working for a small Vietnam importer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As I continued working in the global trade compliance space, I pursued my Global Trade Certificate at St. Paul College in 2014.

Around this time, I joined APICS Twin Cities, the professional supply chain association and gained my Certified Supply Chain Certification (CSCP).

By 2018, I moved to Asia as a digital nomad where I worked on my e-commerce businesses.

In 2019, I was hired in Saigon as a sourcing manager for the next four years before I moved back to the US in 2023.
